Aetna Medicare Supplement Plan N

Aetna’s Medicare supplement Plan N is a Medigap plan that covers the “gaps” leftover by Medicare Parts A and Part B.  It offers the most reasonable value for money at affordable monthly premiums.

What Is Medicare Plan N?

As you can tell, your health is one of the biggest priorities in your life. Without good health, living a fulfilling life is going to be difficult. The Medicare program is the health insurance program set up by the federal government to take care of folks over the age of 65. The slight flaw in the plan is that the offering is not all-encompassing. As a result, the government allows private sector participants to offer supplemental plans to help cover the costs. The program is a Medicare Supplement or Medigap. There are various programs within Medigap (twelve in total). They range from the all-encompassing to lightly covering. Medicare supplement Plan N is considered a comphrensive plan.

Who Is Aetna?

Aetna started in 1863 in Connecticut With a mission to build a healthier world, one person and a community at a time. Aetna is one of the nation’s largest and leading health care insurance companies that aims to achieve health and financial security. They have survived some of the worst economic disasters in the last two centuries. Aetna Medicare Supplement Plan N may be one of the cheapest and comprehensive Medigap plans in your area.

Why Medicare Plan N?

Aetna Medicare Supplement Plan N

Medigap plan N started in 2010 as a substitute for people who want a thorough plan without having to pay high costs. Plan N’s primary benefit is that it provides similar coverage to Medigap plans F and G, at a lower rate.

This plan appears tailored toward people who are operating on stringent budgets and want a cheaper Plan G or Plan F. If you have no severe medical conditions or hardly ever get sick, you should also consider the plan. Plan N may as well be the right plan for you if you take frequent trips outside the country. People who want to switch from Medicare Advantage will find this plan a good one.

The Part B deductible and excess charges that Plan F pays are the only trade-offs for the affordability of Plan N. You will be expected to pay up to $20 for doctor visits and $50 for emergency room visits. However, a lot of people don’t mind these copays.
